Dr Chester Yeoh

Dr Yeoh is a skilled Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who graduated with Honours from Monash University and trained in Melbourne and London. With his wide range of experience, he offers a broad spectrum of services that cater to women's health issues, from their early ages to later years, and is known to provide personalised care to achieve productive pregnancy outcomes. Dr Yeoh prioritises having an in-depth understanding of his patients' concerns and wishes, which plays an important role in attaining successful results for both mother and baby. His areas of expertise include pre-pregnancy care, screening of genetic disorders, management of complex medical conditions, including diabetes, heart conditions, and high blood pressure, VBAC and twin delivery, pelvic floor assessment, and gynaecological issues such as endometriosis, menopause, infertility, and abnormal Pap Smears.

Providing utmost care for his patients, Dr Yeoh has established the Whitehorse Pelvic Floor and Continence Service to assist women suffering from prolapse and incontinence, and has developed a multidisciplinary team approach with Continence Nurse Therapists and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapists. He emphasises preventive care for pregnant women and those planning for pregnancy, undertaking minimally invasive surgery, including single incision surgery, to reduce pain and offer a better cosmetic outcome. Dr Yeoh is also an accredited robotic surgeon using the Da Vinci Robot for complex pelvic surgery.

Aside from his clinical practice, Dr Yeoh is a Honorary Senior Lecturer at Monash University, mentoring and teaching medical students from Monash and Deakin University faculties. He also holds a public appointment at Box Hill Hospital.
