Mr Alex Wong

Alex Wong is a highly qualified and experienced colorectal surgeon who completed his specialist training at St Vincent's, Austin, and Box Hill hospitals in Melbourne, Australia, and the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, USA. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and a member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ).

Mr. Wong is proficient in laparoscopic and endoscopic surgery, including single-incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS), and advanced procedures such as Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) and Trans-anal Endoscopic Microsurgery (TEMs). His expertise also extends to the treatment of faecal incontinence and pelvic-floor disorders using sacral nerve stimulation and ultrasound-guided painless haemorrhoid surgery (THD, HALO).

Alex's clinical approach is to use minimally invasive surgery as the technique of choice, where it is feasible and safe. He treats the full spectrum of colorectal diseases, with particular interests in colon, rectal, and anal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, faecal incontinence, and perianal conditions such as fistula, haemorrhoids, and fissures.
