Dr Anthony Njo

Dr. Anthony Njo is a highly experienced pain medicine specialist and anaesthesiologist with over 20 years of experience in the field. After graduating from the University of Hong Kong with a degree in medicine in 2001, he completed his fellowships in anaesthesiology at the Australian & New Zealand College and Hong Kong College, where he discovered his passion for alleviating the suffering of patients with chronic pain.

Driven by a desire to provide the best possible care for his patients, Dr. Njo went on to specialize in Pain Medicine, obtaining dual Pain Medicine Fellowships from the Australian and Hong Kong Colleges, as well as a master's degree in Public Health. He played a key role in the development of Pain Medicine in Hong Kong, introducing and promoting new pain interventional procedures and founding the Chronic Pain Management Program and the enhanced post-surgery recovery program in the public sector.

Dr. Njo is dedicated to helping patients with chronic pain using a multidisciplinary approach and evidence-based interventions. He is particularly skilled in interventional techniques, and believes that through a comprehensive individual assessment and personalised treatment plan, patients can take control of their pain and improve their quality of life.

In 2021, Dr. Njo relocated with his family to Melbourne to begin a new chapter in life. His multilingual proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin enables him to work effectively with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. With over 12 years of experience in Pain Medicine, Dr. Njo is a highly respected and compassionate physician who is committed to helping patients overcome their chronic pain and achieve their goals.
