Dr Annemarie Van Heuven

Dr Annemarie van Heuven is a skilled neurologist who specialises in nerve conduction studies and EMG. After completing her medical degree in The Netherlands in 2006, she honed her skills in the Neurology department of Slotervaart Hospital in Amsterdam for a year. In 2008, Dr van Heuven moved to Brisbane to undertake advanced training in several hospitals across the city, as well as Townsville and Sydney. Her advanced electrophysiology fellowship at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney in 2016 included a comprehensive focus on nerve conduction studies and needle EMG for neuromuscular disorders such as peripheral neuropathy, nerve entrapment, myopathy, myasthenia gravis, and nerve conduction studies for trauma patients needing nerve transfers.
