Dr Anne Coffey

Dr Anne is a compassionate obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She was born and raised on a small farm in the mid North of South Australia and completed her medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 2000. Dr Anne went on to complete her Specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2012 and earned a medal for outstanding achievement in the RANZCOG specialist examinations in 2010. She also holds a Masters Degree in Reproductive Medicine from UNSW.

In 2011, Dr Anne developed a collaborative service for managing high-risk medical disorders during pregnancy at Cairns Hospital, where she provides planning and management for women with chronic medical disease in pregnancy. As a mother herself, Dr Anne has gone through the tough journey of pregnancy loss and IVF, and she understands the significance of compassionate and patient-centered care.

Dr Anne currently offers consultations for fertility issues that include recurrent miscarriage, PCOS, and fertility preservation. She also provides preconception care for women with chronic medical disease as well as preconception and early pregnancy care for women following pregnancy loss. Her patients can always count on her to deliver the best possible care and support throughout their healthcare journey.
