Mr Andrew Packiyanathan

Andrew Packiyanathan is a highly skilled general and upper gastrointestinal surgeon who specializes in conducting bariatric surgery for treating obesity and other related issues. With his extended expertise in upper GI endoscopy, he is also proficient in performing various therapeutic endoscopic procedures for several digestive diseases.

Andrew pursued his graduation in medicine from Monash University in the year 2003. After that, he underwent rigorous residency and surgical training at Monash Health. In 2013, he completed his surgical training and then joined the Alfred Hospital, where he underwent post-fellowship training in oesophagogastric & bariatric surgery from 2014 to 2016.

Currently, Andrew is associated with The Avenue Hospital in Windsor, where he offers his specialized skills and knowledge in treating patients suffering from obesity and GI problems. He endeavors to provide his patients with comprehensive care and adopts a personalize approach for treating them. Andrew is an active participant in continuing medical education to keep himself updated with the recent advancements in his field.
