Dr Alia Vemuri

Dr. Alia Vemuri is a highly experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, currently practicing at Darwin Private Hospital. Having grown up in Darwin, she received her primary and secondary education locally before pursuing her medical degree in Adelaide. Dr. Vemuri graduated from Flinders University of South Australia in 2008 and went on to complete her advanced Obstetrics and Gynaecology qualifications in various hospitals across the nation, including Perth, Canberra, Launceston, Adelaide, and Darwin.

An experienced examiner of the Royal Australia & New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Dr. Vemuri derives immense gratification from helping the new generation of doctors prepare for their careers. She strongly believes in returning home and serving Territory women by providing high-quality obstetrics and gynaecological care. She takes particular pleasure in guiding women through their journey to motherhood and watching Territory families grow and flourish.

Dr. Vemuri has been granted booking rights in both Darwin Private Hospital and Royal Darwin Hospital, both of which provide exceptional care for women from all walks of life.
