During this period, he gained valuable experience in minimally invasive procedures for arterial conditions, with a particular focus on complex aortic aneurysms. Following the completion of his training, Dr Simring had the opportunity to join the consultant staff at University College Hospital. However, he made the decision to return to his roots and serve patients in the Byron Hinterland. Since 2011, he has worked as a consultant at Lismore Base and St. Vincent's Hospitals, extending his services to residents in Coffs Harbour and Glen Innes. Recently, Dr Simring added John Flynn Private Hospital to his practice, ensuring more patients have access to his expertise. Dr Simring's professional achievements include serving as Supervisor of Surgical Training, authoring numerous publications, posters, presentations, and book chapters on a national and international level, and holding the position of Senior Lecturer in Surgery at the University of Western Sydney.
