Dr Will Alexander

After completing his medical degree at the University of Adelaide, Mr Will Alexander specialized in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He received training from the top tertiary centers in Victoria, including The Alfred, Peter MacCallum, Royal Melbourne, Royal Children's, and St Vincent's hospitals. He also undertook further microsurgery training in Coimbatore, India and has volunteered in Sri Lanka and Vietnam.

Mr Alexander completed his Hand and Microsurgery fellowship at Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospital and currently holds public appointments as a Consultant Surgeon at The Royal Children's Hospital, St Vincent's Hospital, and Monash Medical Centre. Furthermore, he is a member of the Victorian Hand Surgery Associates (VHSA) and conducts consultations at his Fitzroy clinic and the Medical Specialists on Collins in Melbourne's CBD. He also operates privately as a regular visiting surgeon at Glenferrie Private.

Mr Alexander specialises in both adult and pediatric hand surgery, including nerve and microsurgery. He also has a strong interest in other areas of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery such as skin surgery for cancer management and reconstruction. He has presented and published research in various surgical forums nationally and internationally on topics ranging from nerve, trauma, burns, and cancer surgery.

Mr Alexander is an accredited Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons. His extensive training and experience make him a knowledgeable and highly skilled plastic surgeon in his field.
