Dr Wei-Ying Chua

Dr Wei-Ying Chua is a highly skilled and experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist based in Perth, Western Australia. She is currently affiliated with St John of God Hospitals in Subiaco and Murdoch.

After completing her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery degree at The University of Western Australia in 2003, Dr Chua went on to pursue specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology. She obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in 2012.

Dr Chua has a specific interest in fertility preservation, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and gynaecological surgery. She believes in tailoring her approach to each patient's unique circumstances, with the aim of helping them achieve their fertility goals. Dr Chua is dedicated to empowering her patients by providing them with accurate information to make informed decisions about their health.

In addition to her training and expertise in English, Dr Chua is fluent in several other languages, including Cantonese, Mandarin, Simplified Chinese, Hokkien, and Malay. This allows her to effectively communicate with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

With her commitment to providing high-quality care, Dr Chua completed a postgraduate fertility training fellowship at Fertility Specialists of Western Australia and King Edward Memorial Hospital. She is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in her field to ensure her patients receive the most effective and evidence-based treatments.
