Dr Surya Tipirneni

Dr Surya Tipirneni is a Psychiatrist based in Bundoora, Melbourne, Victoria. With over two decades of experience in psychiatry, he is a compassionate and highly qualified practitioner. Dr Tipirneni is dedicated to delivering personalized care and evidence-based treatments to his diverse range of patients, helping them achieve optimal health outcomes.

Dr Tipirneni obtained his Board certification from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2003. He completed his medical training in India and Australia before opening his own private practice. Prior to this, he worked as a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist and Acting Clinical Director of Psychiatry at the Northern Area Mental Health Service at The Northern Hospital in Epping. He also served as the Director of Psychiatric Rehabilitation.

Dr Tipirneni specializes in adult ADHD and WorkCover cases. He is experienced in treating patients with anxiety disorders, PTSD, OCD, mood disorders, chronic pain, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychosis, and patients with ADHD and intellectual disability. He also has experience working with doctors, psychiatrists, medical students, and patients with intellectual disability, non-English speaking patients, and patients with physical disabilities.

Dr Tipirneni provides a range of services, including shared care, urgent assessments, and being a WorkCover provider. He is dedicated to delivering focused and team-based treatment to his patients.
