Dr Surya Krishnan

Dr Surya Krishnan is a highly skilled Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, renowned for his exceptional care and expertise. He currently practices at Prince of Wales Private Hospital and has a deep interest in low and high-risk obstetrics and high-risk obstetric surgery.  Dr Krishnan completed his medical degree from the University of New South Wales and FRANZCOG. He underwent rigorous training in complex pelvic endoscopic surgery (endogynaecology) in France, USA and Sydney. While in India, he was a visiting fellow at an advanced endoscopic cancer center, perfecting his training in endoscopic oncology pelvic surgery. Over the years, Dr Krishnan has gained substantial experience in caring for women with multiple pregnancies, advanced maternal age, underlying medical conditions, and post IVF pregnancies.  Dr Krishnan has a broad range of expertise in general Gynaecology and performs complex endoscopic reproductive surgery for infertility, endometriosis, fibroids, and chronic pelvic pain. He also performs advanced laparoscopic and vaginal surgeries for prolapse, incontinence, and hysterectomies. When not working, Dr Krishnan enjoys chasing after his two young children and teaching them how to ride a scooter. His passion for his work is evident in his dedication to providing the highest level of care to women and their families.
