Dr Sulman Ahmed is a highly qualified surgeon practicing in Sydney, with extensive training and experience in general and hepatobiliary surgery. He graduated from the University of Sydney in 1998, after completing his medical studies. Dr Ahmed then pursued a career in general surgery and completed his fellowship in 2007. He further completed three years of advanced training in Hepatobiliary surgery, specialising in gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP.
Dr Ahmed's vast repertoire of surgical skills includes laparoscopic surgery such as inguinal hernia surgery, gallbladder surgery, fundoplication, and adrenal surgery. He is also skilled in umbilical/ventral hernia repairs, circumcisions, ingrown toenail surgery, and excisions of lumps and bumps.
Dr Ahmed's career in surgery is founded on the back of his education. Dr Ahmed attended prestigious schools such as Trinity Grammar School, Sydney, where he completed his secondary education. He then went on to pursue his passion for medicine at the University of Sydney, where he graduated with an outstanding performance.
