Dr Simon Zanati is a highly skilled and experienced gastroenterologist based in Keilor, Melbourne. Dr Zanati obtained his medical degree, MBBS, from Monash University in Australia in 1993. He then completed his residency and internal medicine training at The Alfred, a renowned hospital in Melbourne. He furthered his education in gastroenterology at The Alfred and subsequently pursued a two-year fellowship in advanced therapeutic endoscopy at St Michael's Hospital in Toronto, Canada.

Currently, Dr Zanati serves as a visiting consultant gastroenterologist at The Alfred and Western Hospital, where he is highly regarded for his skills in endoscopy, specifically interventional endoscopy. He also specialises in performing endoscopic mucosal resection for advanced colonic polyps.
