Sanjeev Sewak

Dr Sanjeev Sewak is an experienced and dedicated oncologist based in Berwick, Melbourne. With a strong commitment to patient welfare, he has been practicing as a consultant Medical Oncologist at PASO (Peninsula and Southeast Oncology) since 2009. In addition, Dr Sewak provides consultations at Noble Park, Berwick (St John of God Hospital), and Peninsula Health.

Having worked with a diverse range of tumour types, Dr Sewak's expertise lies in general oncology, with a particular focus on genito-urinary cancers such as prostate, renal, testicular, and bladder cancers. He also specialises in breast and lung cancers. With a keen interest in research, he has served as a Lead Investigator in multiple trials, specifically involving prostate, renal, and bladder cancers, at both PASO and Peninsula Health.

Dr Sewak's extensive medical education and qualifications contribute to his expertise. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Melbourne in 1989. Later, he achieved fellowship status from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). Committed to staying up to date with the latest medical advancements, Dr Sewak completed post-graduate research and training in oncology at New York University Medical Centre in Manhattan, USA.

He is a member of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia, Victorian Clinical Oncology Group, Australian and New Zealand Urological Prostate Group, Australian and New Zealand Breast Cancer Trials Group, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
