Sam Farah is an esteemed vascular and endovascular surgeon who offers comprehensive treatment options to patients in Melbourne. With a wide-ranging knowledge on vascular conditions - from varicose veins to aortic aneurysms, Sam has performing procedures at some of the largest teaching hospitals in the city including The Austin, The Alfred, and Box Hill Hospital. Impressed by his high standards of care, Sam has secured his place as a trusted healthcare professional. Sam started his journey in the field after completing his undergraduate degree at Monash University in 2010. Here, he was granted the Cabrini Hospital Staff Awards for Academic excellence in recognition of his outstanding results as a medical student. His professional career began with a two-year stint in General Surgery at Monash Health before completing his vascular surgery training at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital as well as The Prince Charles Hospital in Queensland. He then returned to his hometown where he underwent rotations at various prestigious facilities such as Box Hill Hospital, Frankston Hospital, Alfred Health, and Monash Health. Through Sam's diligent research, and commitment to the field he has been recognized with several notable awards, including the D.R Leslie Prize and Medal from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons for best research paper. In his free time, Sam enjoys spending quality moments with his wife Emily and two sons, Henry and Louis, indulging in golf as a hobby at Sandhurst Club, with a current GA Handicap of 2.3.
