Dr. Richard Boyle is a highly experienced orthopaedic surgeon with an interest in hip and knee replacement, complex revision surgery, and bone and soft tissue tumour surgery. After graduating with Honours in Medicine from UNSW, he completed his Orthopaedic training in Sydney before undergoing further subspecialist training in Canada, Switzerland, and Austria. Dr. Boyle is a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and has previously served as the Chair of The Northside Orthopaedic Training Scheme. He is an active member of the International Society of Limb Salvage and The Australian Sarcoma Group, and participates in a number of clinical trials for tumour treatment and orthopaedic surgery. He is also a clinical Lecturer at The Australian School of Advanced Medicine, Macquarie University, and serves as the Medical Director of the NSW Bone Bank. Dr. Boyle performs surgical procedures regularly at several hospitals in Sydney, including North Shore Private Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, The Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, and The Children's Hospital, Westmead. With a special interest in advanced joint replacement techniques, such as computer navigation and patient specific surgery, Dr. Boyle aims to provide his patients with the most up-to-date solutions for their orthopaedic concerns. His commitment to advancing the field of orthopaedic surgery and his expertise in tumour treatment make him a highly-regarded expert in his field.
