Dr Ravi Kashyap

Dr. Kashyap is an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 20 years of experience in the field. Graduating from Monash University in 1989, he began his specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1995 at the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne. He then went on to pursue further training in Dublin and Monash Medical Centre in Clayton, Victoria before starting his private practice in April 2001.

Dr. Kashyap believes in supporting natural childbirth as much as possible. He has experience managing both normal and complicated pregnancies, and offers a full range of obstetric care, including vaginal delivery of twins and VBAC. In the event of any complications requiring tertiary hospital care, Dr. Kashyap continues to provide care at Jessie MacPherson Private Hospital.

In addition to obstetric care, Dr. Kashyap also offers general gynaecological care and laparoscopic surgery. He has served on the organising committee of the RANZCOG conference in Melbourne and is a mentor for Monash University students.

Dr. Kashyap is committed to promoting vaginal birth and has run the ECV clinic at Monash for over 10 years. He serves as the Topaz Obstetric Unit team leader at Monash Medical Centre and is a consultant to the Victorian PERS (perinatal emergency referral service). With his expertise and experience, Dr. Kashyap ensures that his patients receive the best possible care throughout their pregnancies, deliveries, and beyond.
