Dr Perri Dyson

Dr Perri Dyson is an experienced and skilled Gynaecologist based in North Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. With over two decades of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dr Perri is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to her patients.

Dr Perri obtained her medical degree from Monash University in 1999 and earned her fellowship in 2008. She has worked in both private and public practice, gaining extensive experience in renowned institutions such as the Royal Women's Hospital, Mercy Hospital, and Frances Perry House. Dr Perri has also worked in various locations across Australia and internationally, further enriching her expertise.

Dr Perri has a special interest in Dysplasia (abnormal pap smears), Laparoscopy (keyhole surgery), and all aspects of maternity care, including Antenatal clinics and Intrapartum care (Labour and Birthing). Her advanced training in Laparoscopy allows her to provide minimally invasive surgical options to her patients.

Dr Perri is a member of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Consulting Group, which consists of a multidisciplinary team including Midwives, a Lactation Consultant, Gynaecologists, and a Dietician. This collaborative approach ensures comprehensive and holistic care for patients.

As a mother of three children, Dr Perri deeply understands the importance of a safe and supportive environment during pregnancy and childbirth. She aims to offer her patients the same level of care and support that she experienced herself. Dr Perri takes the time to provide personalized care, ensuring her patients feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their journey.

In addition to her expertise in low and high-risk pregnancy care, Dr Perri specialises in managing conditions such as previous pregnancy loss and cervical insufficiency, recurrent miscarriage, pregnancies conceived with IVF, and contraception, including IUDs.

Outside of her medical practice, Dr Perri enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, engaging in activities such as bushwalking, swimming, and mountain biking. She also has a passion for reading and cooking.
