Mr Paul Simpson

After completing his medicine/law degree from Monash University in 2002, Mr. Simpson went on to train in General Surgery at the highly acclaimed Alfred Hospital, Melbourne. In 2011, he became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and went on to complete two years of specialist colorectal training as a member of the Australian & New Zealand Colorectal Fellowship Training Program. Following this, he completed an international Colorectal Fellowship at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, USA. Today, Mr. Simpson is a Specialist Colorectal Surgeon and an esteemed member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand. With an impressive publication record in colorectal surgery, he harbours a deep interest in education and research. With a public hospital appointment at The Western Hospital, Mr. Simpson conducts surgeries privately at Cabrini Hospital Malvern, The Avenue Hospital, and Glen Iris Private Hospital. Mr. Simpson has a particular fondness for colon and rectal neoplasia-inflammatory bowel disease, minimally invasive surgery, and robotic surgery. Furthermore, he is also accredited for Colonoscopy by the Conjoint Committee for the recognition of training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
