Dr Paul Lai

Meet Dr. Paul Lai, an experienced Psychiatrist who has recently joined the medical community in Orange. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge acquired from his training in various settings across New South Wales, including Broken Hill, Orange, and Royal North Shore Hospital. Despite his extensive travels, he has chosen to settle down in Orange, where he appreciates the region's local cuisine and wines.

Over the years, Dr. Lai has worked in both inpatient and community environments, honing his skills in treating a range of disorders such as anxiety, mood disorders, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, OCD, ADHD, and psychosis. He is also familiar with the challenges of working in rural and regional areas and is passionate about providing quality mental health care to those in need.

As an active member of the local ECT committee at Bloomfield Hospital and the Local Operating Procedures Working Party, Dr. Lai regularly collaborates with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes. Additionally, he has served as a member of the Western New South Wales Local Health District Mental Health Drug and Alcohol Clinical Council, further contributing to the ongoing development of the mental health field.
