Mr Murilo Leie

Dr. Murilo Leie is an Orthopaedic Consultant and a Master in Surgical Science. He received his training in Brazil and later relocated to Australia in 2017. During his stay, Dr. Leie had the exceptional opportunity to attend orthopaedic fellowships and sub-specialise in knee surgery, especially ligament reconstruction procedures and cartilage restoration procedures. He undertook his sub-specialisation in knee surgery from eminent orthopaedic surgeons A/Prof Leo Pinczewski and Dr David Parker.

In the last three years, Dr. Leie has devoted his practice primarily to knee surgery, including robotic knee replacements (total and partial) and hip replacements, having completed a 12-month fellowship with Dr Arash Taheri.

Dr. Leie is recognized for his impressive research skills, having published multiple studies in high-level journals. His expertise and dedication in the field of orthopaedics have earned him recognition and respect among his peers and patients.
