Dr Matthew Scaddan is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in trauma in the upper and lower limbs, lower limb joint replacement, and arthroscopy. He has a wealth of experience and training in his field. Dr Scaddan completed his medical degree at the University of Western Australia in 1997 and his residency at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. In 2002, he furthered his experience with a stint in the United Kingdom. Dr Scaddan then returned to Western Australia and completed the Advanced Training Program in Orthopaedic Surgery, becoming a Fellow of both the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association in 2009. Dr Scaddan expanded his expertise by undertaking subspecialty training in Foot and Ankle Surgery in Oxford, United Kingdom, in 2010. Since his return to Perth in 2011, he has been a valued member of the Coastal Orthopaedic Group, seeing private patients at both Bethesda Hospital in Claremont and St John of God Hospital Murdoch. Dr Scaddan is known for his exceptional skill and dedication to providing the highest level of care for his patients. He remains at the forefront of his field through ongoing professional development and is passionate about utilizing the latest advancements in orthopaedic surgery to deliver the best possible outcomes for his patients.
