Dr Maryam Zia

Dr Maryam Zia is a Rheumatologist based in Brisbane. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of the Punjab in 2002. She later pursued further training, earning her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Rheumatology in 2019.

Dr Zia has a special interest in treating patients with inflammatory autoimmune diseases and connective tissue diseases. Her expertise lies in diagnosing and managing conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and Sjogren's syndrome.

With over 10 years of clinical experience, Dr Zia brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to her practice. She is known for her compassionate and patient-centric approach, taking the time to listen to her patients' concerns and tailoring treatment plans to meet their individual needs.
