Dr Marie-Frances Burke

Dr Marie-Frances Burke is an experienced Radiation Oncologist with a primary practice in Auchenflower, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. She specialises in the treatment of breast and gynaecological oncology, with a particular interest in gynae brachytherapy and skin malignancies.

Dr Burke has over 20 years of experience in the field of Radiation Oncology. She began her career at the Queensland Radium Institute in 1986 and later moved to the Wesley Cancer Care Centre, now known as Premion, in 1995. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated a passion for providing exceptional care to her patients.

Dr Burke obtained her medical degree from the University of Queensland in 1982. Following this, she became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 1989. She continues to enhance her knowledge and expertise through active participation in professional organizations.

As for her professional affiliations, Dr Burke serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Australian Society of Breast Disease. She is also a board member of the Breast Cancer Association of Queensland and is a member of both the Australian and New Zealand Breast Trials Group and the Australian and New Zealand Gynaecologic Oncology Group.
