Dr. Kay Xu is an accomplished medical professional specialising in oncology. She obtained a Bachelor of Medical Science degree from the University of Sydney in 2007 and went on to pursue her medical degree from Monash University in 2011. Dr. Xu completed her physician training at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney and underwent specialist training in medical oncology at the Kinghorn Cancer Centre, Macarthur Cancer Centre, and Melanoma Institute of Australia. She obtained her fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2020, demonstrating her high level of qualifications as a medical practitioner.
Dr. Xu has developed a keen interest in the treatment of breast cancer, melanoma, and cancers of the genitourinary tract. She has acquired significant proficiency in managing patients on clinical trials and has treated a wide range of solid organ malignancies. Throughout her academic career, Dr. Xu has gained considerable experience in specialist breast cancer and melanoma clinics. In addition to her medical degree, Dr. Xu is currently pursuing a Master of Biostatistics through the University of Sydney, further enhancing her knowledge and skills in the field of oncology.
In 2021, Dr. Xu established her practice in West Albury, Melbourne, where she strives to utilise her expertise in oncology to serve the local community.
