Dr George Gayagay, an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee surgeries, is based in Albury, 2640. He is affiliated with Westmead Private Hospital and Albury Wodonga Private Hospital. Dr Gayagay is fluent in English, Filipino (Tagalog), and Malay.

He co-authored papers such as "Elite Endurance Athletes and The ACE I Allele – The Role of Genes in Athletic Performance" (1998) in the International Journal of Human Genetics, and "Validation of the Cumulative Illness Rating Scale in Hospitalized Nonagenarians" (2007) and "A Review of an Accusatory Form of Dementia in the Elderly" (2006) in Archives Gerontology and Geriatrics and the American Journal of Alzheimer's Diseases and Other Dementias, respectively.
