Dr Justin Vass

Dr Justin Vass is a highly skilled urologist with extensive expertise in minimally invasive surgeries of the prostate and kidney. He obtained his FRACS in Urology in 2000 and went on to complete a prestigious two-year Fellowship first in Oxford and then in Hampshire, UK. While there, he became the first Australian urologist to earn a Fellowship in Laparoscopic (keyhole) Surgery. Dr Vass's passion for innovation in urology led him to pursue further training and expertise in Europe and many American centers where he now is an expert in laparoscopic nephrectomy, laparoscopic pyeloplasty, laparoscopic partial nephrectomy, robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy, laser treatment of stones and BPH.

Dr Vass has gained a global reputation for his expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques and has lectured and demonstrated these approaches in many parts of the world. He is a highly respected member of several urological societies, including the Australasian, American, British, and European Urological Societies. Dr Vass's contributions to the field also extend to academia. He is a lecturer in the School of Advanced Medicine at both the University of Sydney and Macquarie University, where he shares his knowledge and surgical expertise with the next generation of urological practitioners. Dr Vass's dedication to his field has made him an invaluable asset to the medical community and has improved the quality of life for many of his patients.
