Dr Jonathan Taft

Dr. Jonathan Taft, a specialist physician and consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes, has over four decades of experience in the medical field. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 1975, and later underwent specialist physician training at the Austin Hospital, Melbourne, and the Royal Hallamshire Hospital Sheffield, UK. In 1982, he earned his PhD in the regulation of renal vitamin D metabolism from the University of Melbourne.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Taft has worked as a consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes at The Royal Melbourne, Box Hill and Alfred Hospitals. In addition to his hospital work, he also holds a private practice in Fitzroy, Box Hill, and at Knox Private Hospital in Wantirna.

Dr. Taft has a keen interest in the treatment of diabetes, thyroid, and other hormone and metabolic disorders. He works tirelessly to provide the best possible care to all of his patients, including older children and pregnant women.
