Dr Jonathan Negus

With over 15 years of extensive training and higher degrees from the University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, and the University of Sydney, Dr Negus offers patients individualized, detailed approaches to optimize their post-operative outcomes. His areas of expertise include robotic knee replacement surgery, partial and revision knee replacement surgeries, sports injury surgeries, osteotomy, and realignment surgeries.

Dr Negus is not only a skilled surgeon but also a highly respected academic and researcher. He has contributed chapters for books, published in prestigious journals, and presented his research findings at conferences globally. He is also an invited reviewer for several major international orthopaedic journals.

Recognized for his outstanding research, Dr Negus has received several awards, including the Foundation for Surgery Scholarship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2010 and the AOA Registrars Association prize for best registrar research. His research focuses on the use of novel technology in rehabilitation after knee replacement surgery.

Having trained in Sydney and London, Dr Negus has completed fellowships across the United Kingdom and Europe to enhance his specialist training. He regularly teaches as a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney and Macquarie University sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with junior medical officers, allied health staff, and medical students, in addition to supervising MD and PhD students.

On weekends, Dr Negus spends time with his wife and children playing soccer and cricket, whilst training for a triathlon, golfing and watching the McLaren team in the Formula One.
