Dr Jinny Foo

Dr Jinny Foo is a skilled Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, specialising in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, based in New South Wales, Australia. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Newcastle and completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology as part of the South Eastern Sydney Health network.

With an extensive career spanning various hospitals across New South Wales, Dr Foo has gained a comprehensive understanding and wide-ranging experience in all areas of her profession. Her dedication to sub-specialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility has allowed her to offer patients a complete and expert approach to their care. She has achieved the highest certification in this field, obtaining her Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, recognized within Australia and New Zealand.

Alongside her clinical practice, Dr Foo is actively involved in teaching and examining medical students as a conjoint associate lecturer at the University of New South Wales. She remains committed to research, having received multiple grants and published several research papers in international peer-reviewed journals. Her presentations at Society of Obstetric Medicine and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Clinician conferences in Australia have also earned her awards.

Dr Foo has a particular interest in fertility preservation and provides medical care to patients undergoing cancer treatment who may require fertility options in the future. In addition to her professional achievements, Dr Foo is known for her compassionate approach to patient care throughout their medical journey. Currently, Dr Foo performs fertility-related procedures at Monash IVF. She also serves as a Gynaecological surgeon at the Hospital for Specialist Surgery and Westmead Private Hospital. Additionally, she practices Obstetrics at Westmead Private Hospital and serves as a Visiting Medical Officer in Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology at The Children’s Hospital, Westmead.
