Dr. Jeremy Loveridge is an accomplished Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in hand, wrist, and elbow surgery at Cairns Private Hospital and Ramsay Surgical Centre Cairns. With a decade of specialized training and experience, Dr. Loveridge completed his medical degree with honors from University College London Medical School in 2000.
After completing his Specialist Orthopaedic Training in Bristol, England, he obtained his fellowship in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2010. Dr. Loveridge then moved to Australia in 2011 for further sub-specialty training in hand, wrist, and elbow surgery.
During his time in Australia, he completed a Hand and Upper Limb Sports Injury Fellowship in Perth, followed by a year-long Fellowship in Hand and Upper Limb Surgery, including Microsurgery, at the Brisbane Hand and Upper Limb Research Institute. In 2013, he established a specialist hand clinic at Cairns Hospital, where he worked for two years before setting up his private clinic, FNQ Hand Surgery.
Dr. Loveridge is a dedicated Consultant Hand Surgeon, running the hand unit at Cairns Hospital while also maintaining a private practice. As an Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at James Cook University, he actively engages in research on hand and wrist surgery, as well as Orthopaedics and Trauma research, with several published papers to his name.
In his spare time, Dr. Loveridge enjoys exploring Far North Queensland with his wife and four children. He also participates in mountain bike riding and racing activities, demonstrating his passion for an active lifestyle.
