Dr Jagdev Singh

Dr. Jagdev Singh, nicknamed Dr. Dev, is a dedicated paediatric respiratory and sleep consultant with over 15 years of experience working with children in various subspecialties of paediatrics such as neonatology, critical medicine, endocrine, retrieval medicine, general paediatrics, rural paediatrics and developmental paediatrics in Australia and Malaysia. Currently, he practices at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, where he has devoted himself to working with children who struggle with respiratory and sleep disorders. Dr. Dev is also associated with the University of Sydney where he works as a clinical lecturer and conducts research in the field of respiratory and sleep medicine. Over the years, he has presented multiple talks and seminars to educate trainees, GPs and junior paediatricians on various aspects of respiratory and sleep medicine. His commitment to teaching has earned him several awards, including international research awards. As a specialist in paediatric respiratory and sleep medicine, Dr. Dev has a keen interest in treating a wide range of respiratory and sleep disorders that often affect children, such as asthma or chronic wheeze, long-standing or recurrent coughs, bronchiectasis or suppurative lung disease, snoring leading to daytime somnolence or a lack of concentration at school, and noisy breathing during infancy or childhood. He also works with prematurely born infants who continue to face lung issues and children born with lung abnormalities. Dr. Dev’s passion for treating and educating his patients and fellow healthcare professionals in the field of respiratory and sleep medicine is commendable.
