Dr Hugo Lee

Dr. Hugo Lee completed his ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital in 2019. He then pursued a comprehensive 3-year dual fellowship in paediatric ophthalmology and oculoplastics surgery. His fellowship training took place at two prestigious institutions: SickKids Hospital in Canada and the Singapore National Eye Centre, where he honed his skills in managing complex eye conditions in both children and adults. Dr. Lee's contributions to ophthalmology have been recognized through several accolades. He was awarded the Fred Hollows Scholarship for his efforts in empowering ophthalmology care in the Pacific Islands, a testament to his commitment to improving eye health in underserved regions. Additionally, he has been a visiting scholar at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, USA, where he further expanded his knowledge and expertise. Dr. Lee's clinical expertise encompasses the assessment and management of a wide range of congenital and acquired eye conditions. He is skilled in treating squint (strabismus), eyelid malpositions (ptosis), and tearing (epiphora). Dr. Lee also handles complex cases referred by other healthcare professionals, providing specialized care tailored to each patient's unique needs.
