Dr Faizur Reza

Dr Faizur Reza is a well-trained General & Laparoscopic Surgeon who is currently practicing in Sydney, Australia. He underwent extensive training in General Surgery at Westmead Hospital, followed by a two-year fellowship in General Surgery at Auburn Hospital. Dr Reza also completed a year-long clinical research fellowship in Colorectal Surgery at Westmead Hospital, where he worked alongside senior Colorectal Surgeons in the Western Sydney Area Health Service. He is also involved in providing emergency surgical care in the towns of Central West NSW. Currently, he is working as a VMO Surgeon at Hawkesbury District Health Service and is available for consultations in Bella Vista, Westmead, and Richmond.

Dr Reza's practice encompasses most areas of general surgery, excluding breast & endocrine, specialising in gallbladder disease, simple and complex hernias, lower GI conditions and perianal diseases. He is accredited with the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) and performs adult Gastroscopy & Colonoscopy. He strives to provide his patients with a safe and respectful environment, with effective communication and compassionate patient care at the forefront of his approach.

With a passion for teaching, Dr Reza enjoys mentoring medical students and junior doctors, and has been appointed as an adjunct Senior Lecturer with the University of Notre Dame in Sydney. When not practicing medicine, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing music on his guitar, photography, soccer, charity, and community work.
