Dr Emma Adams is a Psychiatrist with over 25 years of experience. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1992. Dr Adams has a special interest in perinatal and infant mental health, as well as general adult psychiatry, with a focus on anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma and PTSD in first responders, and sexual and gender health.
With a passion for helping patients navigate through difficult periods, Dr Adams is experienced in treating a range of mental health conditions. These include ADHD, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, gender affirmative therapy, obsessive-compulsive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and sexuality affirmative therapy.
As a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatrist, Dr Adams believes in a holistic approach to mental health care.
