Dr Deepali Shirkhedkar

Dr Deepali Shirkhedkar is a highly skilled Endocrinologist with over 5 years of experience in the field. Originally hailing from India, Dr Shirkhedkar relocated to Australia with her husband in 2000. After obtaining her medical degree in India in 1996, Dr Shirkhedkar completed her endocrine and physician training in Sydney before moving to Queensland in 2011 to work as a Staff Specialist at Redcliffe Hospital.

Throughout her career, Dr Shirkhedkar has gained extensive experience in managing a wide range of endocrine disorders, including Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, Gestational diabetes, thyroid disorders, medical management and post-surgical follow-up of Pituitary disorders, as well as the treatment of lipid disorders, polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, and osteoporosis. She has spent two years working at St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney, where she gained valuable experience in diabetes management and research, and has also worked at Concord Hospital, where she focused on bone and mineral metabolism and obesity management.

Dr Shirkhedkar earned a reputation as a skilled endocrinologist with a holistic approach to patient care.
