Dr Vishnu Sannarangappa

Dr Vishnu Sannarangappa is an accomplished physician and endocrinologist based in Brisbane, Australia. After completing his MBBS at JJM Medical College in India in 1998, he moved to the UK to pursue further studies before moving to Australia in 2006. He began his Australian medical career at Redcliffe and Caboolture Hospitals and completed his basic physician training at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. From there, he moved to Adelaide where he completed his Endocrinology and General Medicine training at Flinders Medical Centre.

Throughout his career, Dr Sannarangappa has been recognized for his excellence in teaching. He has worked as a lecturer in Medicine at both the University of Queensland and Flinders University in Adelaide, earning various certificates of excellence. He continues to work as a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland, as well as conducting his own research. His research and presentations on endocrinology and other topics have been well-received at conferences both nationally and internationally.

Dr Sannarangappa currently works at North Lakes Endocrinology, Caboolture Public Hospital, Caboolture Private Hospital, St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside, and the Wesley Hospital in Brisbane as a Consultant Endocrinologist and General Physician. His expertise in the field is highly-valued by his colleagues and patients alike.

When he isn't working with patients or conducting research, Dr Sannarangappa enjoys spending time with his daughter and pursuing his hobbies. He is an avid squash player and enjoys reading books on a wide range of topics.
