Dr David Ward is a Consultant Psychiatrist specializing in the treatment, assessment, and management of alcohol and other addictive disorders. With a special interest in this field, he currently serves as the Medical Director of the addiction service at Ramsay Clinic Northside and Wentworthville Clinics in Sydney, New South Wales.

Dr Ward offers his expertise to patients both on an inpatient and outpatient basis, providing comprehensive psychiatric care. He is particularly skilled in addressing the physical and mental health issues that arise from substance use. His approach includes the development and implementation of individualized management plans encompassing social, psychological, and medical interventions.

Prior to his medical career, Dr Ward held senior business roles in both the public and private sectors of Sydney and Melbourne.

In addition to his professional achievements, Dr Ward is an accomplished cellist and regularly performs with Corpus Medicorum, an orchestra affiliated with the Royal Melbourne Hospital. This dedication to music demonstrates his ability to maintain a balanced work-life routine.
