He completed his urological training in New South Wales before undertaking a fellowship at Monash Medical Centre in Victoria, where he was instrumental in establishing laparoscopic renal surgery. Dr Jefferson's expertise lies in general urology, as well as specialty areas such as urological oncology, laparoscopic surgery, benign prostate enlargement, and stone disease of the urinary tract, including laser treatment of renal stones.
