Dr Colin Singam

Dr. Colin Singam is a highly qualified and experienced psychiatrist who currently serves as the consultation-liaison psychiatrist at Joondalup Health Campus and Joondalup Private Hospital. Dr. Singam received his medical education from the University of Western Australia in 1999 and then went on to complete his specialist training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. He has been working at Joondalup Health Campus since 2011 and has established himself as a leading expert in the field of perinatal mental health.

In his current role, Dr. Singam provides expert psychiatric care to patients in the general hospital and Emergency Department. He is known for his compassionate and patient-centered approach to treatment and has helped countless individuals overcome a wide range of mental health challenges. Dr. Singam also heads the mental health in-reach program for obstetrics clinics at King Edward Memorial Hospital and has a keen interest in education. He has been instrumental in creating a consultation-liaison training position for psychiatry registrars at Joondalup Health Campus, demonstrating his passion for inspiring and educating the next generation of mental health professionals.
