Dr Julie Smith

Dr. Julie Smith is a highly skilled obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 15 years of experience. She is currently associated with the Joondalup Private Gynaecology Obstetrics Group where she plays an instrumental role in providing comprehensive medical care to women.

Dr. Smith earned her MBChB degree from the University of Cape Town in 2002, after which she completed her Diploma in Obstetrics in 2004. She has worked in various rural and urban areas of South Africa as well as in Australia and the United States, gaining extensive knowledge and expertise in her field. In 2011, she completed her specialist training at Groote Schuur Hospital and was also awarded her Masters of Medicine.

In 2011, Dr. Smith moved to Western Australia and started working at King Edward Memorial Hospital as a consultant before settling into her current role at JHC. She is a fellow of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists as well as the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa.
