Dr Christopher Veale

My primary area of expertise lies in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and I have extensive experience working with military personnel and veterans. I provide compassionate and evidence-based care, tailored specifically to address the unique needs of this population.

In addition to my clinical practice, I am actively involved in research and teaching, aiming to contribute to the advancement of psychiatric care for veterans. I have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those who have served in the military and I strive to provide personalized and effective treatment options to help them overcome their mental health difficulties.

As the Head of Unit at the Jamie Larcombe Centre, I lead a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our veterans. Our center offers a comprehensive range of services, including telehealth consultations, to ensure accessibility and convenience for our patients.

I am also able to assist with the preparation of medical reports for the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA), utilizing my expertise and knowledge of veterans' mental health. This includes providing accurate and thorough assessments to support their claims and ensure they receive the appropriate care and support they deserve.
