Dr Chandrasekhar Perumalla

Dr Perumalla is a highly experienced and skilled Urologist with extensive training both in his home country of India, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. After completing his training in India, he moved to Australia in 1995 and eventually settled in Queensland in 1998. Dr Perumalla also completed a fellowship in renal transplant in the United Kingdom and Canada before moving to Australia.

In addition to his training, Dr Perumalla undertook a Fellowship at UC Irvine in California where he acquired advanced skills in laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He has continued to acquire skills and knowledge of robotic surgery back in Australia while working with Senior Urologists such as Adjunct Professor, Peter Heathcote.

Dr Perumalla has consulting rooms at Nambour Selangor Private Hospital and Noosa Hospital. He has surgical privileges at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital, Nambour Selangor Private Hospital, Noosa Hospital, and Nambour General Hospital/Sunshine Coast University Hospital since 1999.

Dr Perumalla's areas of interest include urological oncology, diseases of the prostate, laser surgery, stone disease, laparoscopic urology surgery, da Vinci robotic surgery, and urinary prosthetics.
