Dr Bon Chou

Dr. Bon Chou is a highly-qualified cardiologist specialising in general cardiology, cardiac failure, valvular disease, and echocardiography. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from Monash University in 1997, followed by a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2005.

After completing his cardiology training, Dr. Chou underwent a two-year fellowship in echocardiography at Monash Medical Centre, where he honed his skills in assessing cardiac function and valvular heart disease. He is now an expert in both transoesophageal and stress echocardiography, enabling him to accurately diagnose and analyze various heart conditions.

Additionally, Dr. Chou has completed level two training in cardiac CT, a non-invasive medical test that aids in the diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases. This further enhances his ability to provide comprehensive care to his patients.

Currently, Dr. Chou serves as a consultant at Melbourne Heart Care in Brighton, where he performs stress echocardiography to aid in the diagnosis of heart conditions. He also works as a cardiologist at Southern and Eastern Health, specialising in the treatment of patients with heart-related issues.
