Dr Belinda Gray

Dr Belinda Gray is an experienced Consultant Cardiologist and Sports Cardiologist based in Wollstonecraft, Sydney, Australia. With a special interest in genetic heart diseases and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, Dr Gray provides comprehensive and specialised care to her patients.

Dr Gray obtained her qualifications from the University of New South Wales, Australia, including a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery in 2006. She is also a holder of a BSc(Med) and a PhD. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (FCSANZ).

Dr Gray's academic achievements include completing a PhD in Genetic Heart Disease and Sudden Cardiac Death at the University of Sydney in 2016. She further honed her skills through a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in Inherited Cardiac Conditions and Sports Cardiology at St George’s, London, UK from 2017-2019.

As a leading expert in sports cardiology, Dr Gray has collaborated with various world-class professional sporting bodies such as Rowing Australia, Football Federation Australia, English Premier League Football, and Sky Cycling UK. She specialises in the cardiac assessment of professional athletes and has developed a reputation for providing exceptional care to this unique patient population.

In her role as a Staff Specialist Cardiologist and Director of Sports Cardiology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA), Dr Gray continues to contribute to the advancement of the field.
