That same year, he was awarded his Fellowship by the Australasian College of Physicians.

Continuing his pursuit of excellence, Dr Croft undertook a Senior Clinical Fellowship at the renowned John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, UK, from 2018 to 2019. During his time there, he gained additional training in general gastroenterology, hepatology, and inflammatory bowel disease treatment. He actively participated in the hospital's clinical trial program.

Dr Croft's commitment to improving patient care is evident in his continuous educational pursuits. He received specialised training in intestinal ultrasound from the University Hospital Erlangen Medical Clinic in Germany, following the completion of his fellowship. He remains dedicated to enhancing his skills in this patient-friendly technique while serving his patients in public clinics.

Having been actively involved in gastroenterological research since 2005, Dr Croft was awarded a Master of Philosophy degree by the University of Queensland in 2019. His thesis focused on clinical outcomes prediction in acute ulcerative colitis. Additionally, he contributes to the medical literature, participates in important IBD clinical trials, and imparts his knowledge to future doctors as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland.

Dr Croft consults regularly at 4th Avenue Specialists in Caloundra, where he performs a range of procedures at the Caloundra Private Day Hospital. His expertise includes colonoscopy, gastroscopy (also known as endoscopy), flexible sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy with enhanced imaging techniques.
