MBBS, FRACS
Dr Angela Robson is a specialized general surgeon from Queensland with extensive expertise in breast, melanoma, and general laparoscopic surgeries. She accomplished her primary medical degree from the University of Queensland before serving at RBWH, TPCH, Nambour, and Cairns Hospitals across Queensland during her surgical training. After finishing her FRACS in general surgery in early 2013, Dr Robson became a member of the Australian Society of Breast Disease and General Surgeons Australia. Her primary surgical interests include both benign and malignant breast diseases and melanoma surgery. Dr Robson actively takes part in the Multi-disciplinary Team Meetings for both conditions and operates with the support of her breast physician counterpart, Dr Sue Fraser.
When she's not working as a staff specialist in general surgery at Cairns Hospital, Dr Robson dedicates her time to teaching surgical trainees, junior doctors, and medical students. Currently, she oversees the general surgical trainees at Cairns Hospital and serves on the GSA State Training Committee. Dr Robson shares her private practice with her husband, Dr Nathan Brunott, another fellow general surgeon, and provides private outreach clinics to the Tablelands twice a month. With a broad range of general surgical procedures at her disposal, Dr Robson covers the aforementioned specialist interests along with gallbladder and hernia surgeries.
Besides her medical profession, Dr Robson shows a keen interest in the outdoors, traveling, and caring for her three children. For referrals, please contact reception@marlincoastsurgical.com.au or through Medical Objects.
