Dr Anas Alawawdeh

Dr Anas Alawawdeh is a respected oncologist practicing in Kurralta Park, Adelaide, South Australia. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Jordan in 2008 and completed his surgical oncology training at the esteemed King Hussein Cancer Centre in Amman, Jordan. In 2012, Dr Alawawdeh relocated to Australia where he underwent postgraduate training at Lyell McEwin Hospital. He then completed his specialist oncology training at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Lyell McEwin Hospital, and Flinders Medical Centre.

With a passion for clinical research and trials, Dr Alawawdeh recently completed a gastrointestinal cancer clinical fellowship at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. During this time, he played a pivotal role in coordinating multiple early clinical trials of novel targeted therapies and immunotherapies for various tumor types. Dr Alawawdeh is honored to be a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and an active member of leading national and international clinical cancer trials groups.

Dr Alawawdeh's expertise extends across a wide range of solid tumor malignancies, with a particular emphasis on gastrointestinal cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, and melanoma.
