Raj, an accomplished urological surgeon, has established himself as a leading expert in his field through his extensive background in medicine and surgery. After completing his education in Adelaide, he pursued postgraduate training in General and Urological surgery, gaining valuable experience in the management of adult urological conditions at major teaching hospitals in Adelaide.
To further refine his skills, Raj completed a 12-month fellowship in Urological Oncology, focusing on the surgical and non-surgical management of prostate cancer and other urological malignancies. Throughout this fellowship, he gained expertise in advanced techniques such as prostatectomy, Low Dose Rate (LDR) and High Dose Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy, High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU), and Cryotherapy.
During his time in Sydney, Raj served as a Lecturer in Surgery at the University of New South Wales, maintaining strong academic links and contributing to the education of future medical professionals. His dedication to educating others extends beyond the classroom, as he currently serves as the surgical representative on the Prostate TAS working group at the Cancer Council of Tasmania.
